Humans breath and Humans eat
They laugh and play, Their sorrows They beat
Man can laugh and Man can cry
He can live and He can die
Humans choose and Humans follow
they lead and conquer, their fears they swallow
Man can lead or he can hide
run away and never abide
humans hunt and humans kill
they track and stalk, their breath is still
man can save or he can murder
spilling blood and guts in slaughter
the pigs they kill are creatures too
they eat and drink, they have voices like you
yet a beasts can conquer them with ease
the beasts' dark soul is shattered and creased
beasts can run and beasts can fight
triumphing over others in their might
growing while influencing others
forgetting that they ever had mothers
the beasts can breath and they can eat
they laugh and play as others the beat
the beasts can laugh and once they cried
they choose who lives and who has died
they grow in number and in their head
the lil'uns that they were are dead
innocence gone just like the others
so much for tribes, so much for brothers
the Beasts could rule though they only conquer
because of meat because of greed
the humans that evaded them
have their own fire, have all they need
the humans find help, they remember to love
the beasts are lucky humans care
the beasts, now saved, wish to be human
but they've now forgotten, time hasn't been fair

When He Speaks
Don’t get attached.
I could care less for your words,
until I realized
it is, actually, easier to glue
than to unglue.
You’ll lose yourself.
But I lose so many things daily
that I eventually find:
the apartment keys, though I have two sets;
the remote control;
my chapstick, passion-fruit flavored.
You know it.
I know only what I have experienced
or what others have experienced, maybe.
There’s no winning with you, is there?
I look across the room to the window,
admiring the brittle sunlight
passing through the curtain. I never considered
what it means to win or lose. I just live.
Look, just don’t get attached

Better Life
I think this would be a better life,
If I could see your face once more,
O you bitter friend of mine,
What a world! What a world! The way that this will end,
May just be round the bend,
But o! The pity,
But o! The strife,
I think this would be a better life.

Yours
Yours
Make me
Groan with delight
Hold tight my fantasy
Fight against all the shackles
Keep me balanced, the room's spinning
We forsake all others, forsake ourselves too
While sating our thirst, while feeding our hungers
We tie up loose ends around each other's collarbones
By breaking bones and rules and taking everything for granted
Can't stop hiding the images behind my eyes and memorizing them
Swirling the lust around, a wine taster savoring intimate flavors
Floating on blues and greens, absorbing your sensuality too
Bodies intertwined, come down from above my frame
Fasten your mouth to mine, breathing tandem
Pressed together, it's urgent

I just made this up because I saw Lord of the Flies on my desk, so sry it's so rough and choppy.
I loved this book though and wanted to make a poem about it...I'm afraid it doesn't do the book justice though >.<
One thing to note though is the capitalization...though I kinda jotted this down, the grammer may be rough but the capitalization is important ;D

Oh, yeah. Very cool. Although I don't really understand it. Lol. Great job, though
